A series of hand-made ceramic tiles appropriating the visual language of familiar packaging — mosquito coils, incense sticks, cigarette boxes — and reimagining them with incongruous affirmations. Responding to the absurd overload of commercialized self-help and motivational jargon on social media, the work brings fleeting sentiment together with the easily discarded — to invite slower, tactile reflection. Mixing-up Sinhala, Tamil and English to dig at local humour, soft refusal and futility. Each tile, shaped, painted and glazed by hand, laughs sideways at the branded performance of straight edges. No hustle, only strange obsolescence.
